Indaba Early Adopter Partnership — Overview
The Indaba fieldwork platform is a tool developed by Global Integrity for managing a distributed research project. See the Indaba whitepaper or feature list for an overview of the platform.
The Early Adopters program allows a select group of organizations the opportunity to learn about, and if appropriate, run a project on the Indaba fieldwork platform at no cost to the partner organization.
The goals of the Early Adopter partnership include:
- enhance project management and fieldwork efficiency of organizations working on transparency and accountability;
- share knowledge across Early Adopter organizations;
- gain insight into how the Indaba platform can be improved;
- transfer skills needed to create and manage an Indaba project to facilitate longer-term use where appropriate.
Partial list of expectations of Global Integrity:
- Provide comprehensive support and consultation during Phase One (design and training).
- Provide training and technical support during Phase Two (project execution and publishing).
- Respond rapidly to any technical problems encountered with Indaba.
Partial list of expectations of Early Adopter Partners
- Discuss Indaba with a community of Early Adopters.
- Share Indaba-specific resources — such as workflow plans, question formats and documentation — with the community in order to encourage best practices across like-minded organizations.
- Provide unvarnished feedback on the performance of Indaba.
While Early Adopters will share resources like training manuals, partner organizations retain complete control of content they create on Indaba. Organizations can migrate content to another tool at any time.
